A tiny little annual species, not uncommon in the UK, but often overlooked. The tiny little flowers are pale, almost white and rarely noticed. These plants were grown in 1980. It is sometimes a short lived perennial in cultivation. Plants from some sources are much redder in leaf, and nearly invisible on bare peat surfaces.

A short lived species that comes very easily from seed in the greenhouse. I try to sow a few new pots every year to keep it going.
