This is a joy to show, like a little giggle in the mind. I sowed the seed in 198-something from South West Seeds
and the young plants have been struggling in small pots ever since. They spent several years in 7cm pots
and the remainder in 10cm pots looking rather miffed about it.
A couple of plants have survived the decades, moving from pillar to post and spending too much time under benches
and piled behind doors. Finally there is space to plant things out and it is a joy.
It occurs very locally in Brewster County, Texas but my seed almost certainly came from the more extensive
population in northern Mexico.
