A long time ago I rotavated a section at the top of the garden, and a beautiful crop of Viola tricolor
sprung up. A couple of years ago I levelled a small section (with a big machine) and I was hoping
for another show, but it didn't materialise. This black selection popped up in a pot without my help. I probably imported the seed in a pot from somewhere. I have no doubt that it is a named strain but I don't have the name. It may come up again next year and it will be welcome. |
