A moderate to large shrub with long racemes of flowers, close to 'Amabilis'. As a young plant it produced short spikes of flowers through December and January. Once planted in the garden it has grown away vigorously and produced much longer flower spikes. From the garden of John David in Farncombe. It did well in the garden initially but was eaten to the ground by a deer in the autumn of 2021 and has not recovered. |
