A bean leaved cultivar with a green stem and green root tips. Originally found on Shikoku. In 2021 florapecilia.ca wrote: "Ao-jiku and ao-ne (green stem and green roots) mameba from Shikoku. The last flower often blooms out of season like Shunkyuden." Orchidweb says: "Suisei translates to 'Comet'. This is a medium/large size bean leaf, with the typical short-spur/thick petal flowers. Wave tsuke at the axis." Elite Orchids say: "Suisei is middle sized bean leaf variety but also in group of flower variety. When they are young flower is normal but flower changes when plant get mature." |
