The name just means that it is a wild type of Vanda falcata from China. When they first became availabe
a couple of years ago there was excitement that they might be V. richardsiana but they weren't.
The short, downward pointing spur on this plant is slightly suggestive of V. richardsiana but the plant
had just been through the post so it is impossible to draw meaningful conclusions but fun to speculate wildly (and there's a lot of that about). |
