A small growing bulb from Tunisia flowering in autumn. It grew for a few years in the Nerine House increasing slowly but it stopped flowering and then stopped appearing.
I got it from Tale Valley Nursery and their label said: "Makes a large bulb for the small isze of the plant which has thinnish, prostrate foliage and spikes of white flowers which open gradually up the stem. Bulbs poisonous, sap an irritant. glasshouse." Seeds of Peace say: " a small, up to 30cm, autumnal species from Tunisia. It keeps producing flowering stems for quite a few weeks. The narrow, deep green-blue leaves appear after the first rain." |
