Tricyrtis hirta 'Washfield Form'

An attractive, clean, reliable form originally distributed by Elizabeth Strangman at Washfield Nursery.

I bought it from Beeches nursery and their label says:

"Easy to grow non running form with delicate, upward facing, orchid like, palest lilac white flowers with distinct, regular dark spotting;- late summer and autumn. Lightly spotted leaves. Woodsy, humus rich soil in part shade. (8-10) 100cm."

Pan Global Plants say:

"Toad Lily. In this form the dark spots are very distinct against pale petals. Height 1m+. Easy perennial for shade."
