A strong growing cultivar with saturated flower colour. Dibleys say: "Beautiful rich red flowers, freely borne, forming a nice head on a medium sized plant." Taylor Greenhouses (NY state) say: "Streptocarpus Ruby has a dark bright rose flower with darker lines down the throat make this strong growing plant a likely "must have". It is a large growing plant with nearly continual blooms when given a 55° or above temperature. A zone 10 plant, it will do best in bright/moderate Indoor light, or a shady outside spot." |
