Streptocarpus 'Nerys'

Very lovely in flower. Unfortunately it sits on the windowsill in front of my computer, so I see it every day of the year, good times and bad, so I am very aware of its long dejected looking periods. If I was able to look away it would be easier to forgive when it looks tatty (and there can be no doubt, in winter it looks tatty).

In the Gardeners Digest of the JRHS for March 2004 it says:

"A new Streptocarpus named 'Nerys' has been included in the Dibleys nurseries catalogue for 2004.
Bred by Lynne Dibley, its white flowers boast distinctive markings, with the lower lobes veined with rich purple, turning to a deep shade of orange in the throat, highlighted by two flashes of bright yellow. It has proved to be free flowering and has a tidy, compact habit." Dibleys catalogue says:

"An unusual new combination of colours. The lower 3 lobes have purple veining with a hint of copper in the throat around two yellow stripes. An exceptionally free flowering plant with a neat habit."
