A pale flowered cultivar that I bought from a local fancier. Modern Streptocarpus selections survive winter here in a cold greenhouse if they are kept on the dry side
and if the summer is warm enough for them to make good growth. 'Alissa' seemed less robust than many of them. It is the first of the yellow Streptocarpus hybrids raised by Dibleys. Dibleys catalogue entry says: "Wonderfull primrose yellow on all 5 lobes of the flower with faint lines in the throat. Multi branching and very free flowering. It can flower for over 10 months" |
