An interesting hybrid between the two closely related species (S. fimbriata x S. longifolia) made as part of the Orchid Project at Writhlington School
(which is where I got mine). Slightly spotted leaves and intermediate levels of fimbriation on the lower lip.
The plants that I have seen in cultivation conform to the suggestion that S. fimbriata has a three lobed labellum, the outer lobes not fimbriate,
while S. longifolia has the outer lobes divided into two fimbriations. That may not refect the variability of the species in the wild.
