A grey-green-lilac cultivar that flushes red as the rosettes mature. Raised by Edward Skrocki in the USA in 1973. Horst Diehm said: "small light grey-green rosettes, downy hairy, pink shimmer". Erwin Geiger is quoted on Sempervivum Liste: "A vigorous American with slightly velvety light brown to pink foliage. Under this name there is another large rosetted S. tectorum hybrid in cultivation, which thrives under a false name." and Volkmar Schara says: "A very light, almost evenly coloured plant. It grows well and forms beautiful cushions." Mountain Crest Gardens say: " Medium, soft green rosette with lovely yellow and rose undertones. This sweet rosette is coated with a velvety layer of fine cilia. Each spring, it can produce lots of offsets on long stolons. This is a gorgeous but rare find in collections. |
