A grey leaved cultivar with interesting fluffy-tufts on the tips of the leaves. It was raised by Ed Skrocki in the USA
and introduced in 1980. Quoted on Sempervivum List, Volkmar Schara says: "When I saw this plant for the first time, I was thrilled. It shows only very short hairs at the tips of the leaves, the rest of the plant is completely smooth. A cross with a special charisma!" and Erwin Geiger adds: "An American breed with fiery red rosettes and cotton-like tuffs at the tips of the leaves" |
