A white flowered form of the species that has attracted a cultivar name. It was available in 2023 and 2024 from a number of mail order companies supplied by the Dutch bulb industry.
I don't know where it originated but an article on www.nature.jardin.free.fr says thsat 'White Moon' and 'Blue Moon' are derived from a cross between
Scilla peruviana and Scilla peruviana f. alba. In auto-translation it says: "Scilla peruviana 'Blue Moon', also marketed under the name Oncostema 'Blue Moon' resulting from a cross between Scilla peruviana and Scilla peruviana f. alba, 25 to 40 cm, inflorescence of 25cm of a very pale mauve blue and yellow anthers. The pimples are dark purple. Scilla peruviana 'White Moon', also marketed as Oncostema 'White Moon', 30 cm tall, with a domed inflorescence in pure white." |
