I had a short (an unsuccessful) flirtation with petiolarid primulas, during which I bought this one from Aberconwy nursery. Their label says: "Choice and beautiful petiolarid with deep pink flowers with a white edged yellow eye. Feb-April, 5-8cm. For a cool, shaded, humus rich, moist but well drained soil. Avoid summer heat." It comes from Nepal, spilling into Bhutan. |
