Polygonatum cirrhifolium "Orange Flower"

6th June 2005 6th June 2006 22nd May 2008 22nd May 2011 10th June 2021
A tall plant with leaves in whorls, each one tipped with a tiny tendril that supports the scrambling stems. Typically, the species has white flowers with green tips. This orange flowered form has come into cultivation quite recently, and there is a suggestion that it may belong to a different species.
It is very distinctive, but rather shy to flower.
The most recent suggestion is that this is either P. kingiaqnum or P. huanum.
