A marsh orchid from Russia and Japan. I got a tiny little tangle of wiry roots last winter, and I was surprised when it formed flower buds, but they didn't progress to flowering. To be honest, I was happy enough to see it growing at all, I wasn't convinced it was alive when it arrived!
Very like my plant of P.ophioglossoides when it flowered.
Although it is said to grow in wet fields in habitat I have found that it prospers better with me when grown in saturated sphagnum moss.
