Pinguicula moranensis

One of the largest and most vigorous of the Mexican species and has been used for many years as a biological control for insects in greenhouses. The first picture was taken at Kew, where it was being used to control insects in the orchid collection.
Discovered by Humbolt and Bonpland in 1817, probably in Hidalgo. This variable species is widespread in the southern half of Mexico.
