Phytolacca americana 'Silberstein'

A boldly variegated selection of the species that comes true from seed. I like it very much mand it grew slowly for me for a couple of years, but it really needs higher light intensity
and greater summer heat to do well. I got it to about 50cm tall, but I have seen it in the south eastern counties almost full sized and looking remarkable.
Discovered by Steve Silberstein in New Jersey and introduced to the trade by Tony Avent at Plant Delights Nursery in 2001.
