Parodia comarapana

A small growing species with orange flowers that merges with P. mairanana. It comes from a small area in Santa Cruz and Comarapa in Bolivia however it is abundant in habitat.
The name P. comaparana is usually applied to plants from the eastern part of the range, the distinction between the two taxa is not clear. Plants known as P. mairanana
usually have darker red flowers.
