A bright red cultivar raised at Exbury. Tony Norris wrote in his catalogue in 1979:
"A superb ball of fire. The 15 florets make a complete ball from which the long stamens stand out most beautifully. Free flowering, robust and 20 inches stem combine to make this a very desirable nerine."
