4th March 2019

An old cultivar raised by Rev. G. H. Engleheart some time before 1913.

I have admired this old for many years at daffodil shows. The small cupped flowers have distinctive pale tepals and large, nodding flowers. Very popular decades ago in the Cornish cut-flower industry, it can still be found growing in hedgerows in the Tamar valley. I have meant to buy myself a dozen bulbs for years without actually doing anything about it. Eventually somebody gave me a potful to shut me up.
