Magnolia 'Jurmag1' BLACK TULIP

I have wanted to grow Magnolia 'Black Tulip' since I first saw it at Wisley. Recently young plants have been available at a reasonable price.
I have planted this one at the front of the house where it might be spectacular if the molluscs and wind allow it to grow away.
Bred by Felix and Mark Jury in New Zealand, plants I have seen so far are developing into small, upright trees. Dark burgundy flowers.
