Iris lazica 'Joy Bishop'

A dark flowered form from the Black Sea coasts of Georgia and Turkey. It is very close to I. unguicularis but tolerant of shade and moisture.
This is a darker flowered form and some sources suggest a reddish caste in the colour. I haven't noticed it myself. Broader falls than 'Turkish Blue'
which is also a darker selection.
