Hypericum patulum

There has long been confusion about the proper species to include Hypericum 'Hidcote' and it has often been placed under H.patulum.
I was interested when I was given this plant and hoped that it would throw some light on the question in my mind. This is a Kew collection of
H. patulum under the number SICH.1228 from a joint expedition to China.
