Hippeastrum 'San Antonio Rose'

Raised in Florida by William Bell, a hybrid between H. aulicum var stenopetalum and H.traubii var doraniae.
It has a reputation for not flowering until the bulbs are packed solidly in the pot. I haven't got there yet.
I bought it because it is thought to be hardy in the UK. I am sure it is cold tolerant, but I have a feeling it will need a warm summer
(probably under glass) to perform well.
