Hippeastrum 'Apple Blossom'

A great pale flowered bulb. The more I look into Hippeastrum the more cold tolerant forms I seem to find, so I am
trying a few of the classic flowering hybrids in the conservatory (where it is only just frost free) to see how they do.
If they survive, I will try some hybrids with the more cold tolerant forms to see if I can raise some interesting seedlings.
Raised in The Netherlands and introduced in 1954, it has lasted as one of the best pale flowered forms yet produced.
