A large growing H.coccineum style hybrid, photographed here at
KobaKoba during the summer. My plant has all the height, but
it hasn't yet managed a cherry on the top.
Distributed by Hardy Exotics, whose description says:
"A tall clumping ginger with mid green, lance shaped leaves to 40cm long in late summer it produces
slightly open corymbs of salmon pink flowers.
H 1.5m S 75cm. From the Himalayas."
