Hamamelis x intermedia 'John'

A little fragment of egomania to cheer the winter garden. This one wasn't named after me but I can't help
enjoying it. I'm not sure I would be flattered anyway to be best known for the way I smelt on a still winter day
(though this one is not really scented).
Enough of that and apologies to John Schneider, a friend of the de Belders who it was named for.
Selected in 1996 and not yet widely tested.
