Euphorbia x martinii

Shortly after I moved into the house here I planted Euphorbia x martinii on this small mound. I had bought a young plant and also had a small mound,
combining the two was almost inevitable. At the time it was a new plant and I was impressed by the compact growth
though I thought the colour was a little dull. Later plantings have never been this good. They have never had this much sun, or been this well drained.

An excellent hybrid . I have planted a group of three in the herbacous border to fill space in a satisfying way, and I keep wondering why I haven't planted more.
