Drosera burmannii

An annual or short lived perennial species, widespread in Asia and into Australia. Prefers high temperatures, and easily grown as an annual if kept warm enough. Under cooler conditions it will overwinter as a rosetta and flower the following spring, but the rosettes are very prone to mildew in cold weather.

The long outer tentacles move very rapidly inwards when stimulated by a catch.
