This is the smallest of the forms that I grow, but I have seen some really tiny things grown by fern afficionados. (I am just an ignorant bystander).
Puts a lot of effort into growing a few rather lopsided fronds, like an extravagant ostrich feather hat that a small boy has been playing with. Not plucked exactly, but no amount of
work with a comb is ever going to restore it.
