From the Eastern Cape of South Africa, this has turned out to be reasonably hardy. It does better in the ground than it does in a pot, where it gets old and tired
quite quickly, and needs re-propagating every year or so. If I had a spare bit of garden wall to grow it on, I think it would do quite well, but I haven't.
