The Tree Tomaton grows naturally in the Andes from Ecuador down to Chile and is grown worldwide as a crop for the large orange-red fruits.
It has done unexpectedly well for me in the greenhouse and it is going outside while that is still possible.

Unfortunately I think it needs hotter summers than I can arrange outdoors and although it has survived the winter, regrowth is slow in spring
and it doesn't look as though it will be worthwhile. If I had unlimited space under cover, I might return it but I have limited space
and I'm not sure this is a good use of it.
