Crocosmia 'Carmin Brilliant'

It is vigorous and prolific, there is a pinkish hue to the orange flowers, it was raised in 1950, and the RHS gave it an Award of Garden Merit in 2002. It has so much going for it that I am sure it will survive my mild distain.
(I want it to be either carmine or brilliant, at the very least, but unfortunately it isn't quite either.)
