Calanthe tricarinata

A species from Japan, China and the Himalayas. It has been vigorous here in a pot, but I'm not convinced it would prosper outside.

This one came to me as Calanthe hancockii, a similar species with a slender green labellum. It is actually a rather nice form of
Calanthe tricarinata. The plant pictured in 2006 has not flowered since, and I am not really expecting to see flowers on this one next year.
Hopefully, whatever the cultivation problem is, I will sort it out eventually and see flowers a bit more regularly.
