Begonia 'Little Brother Montgomery'

Named and introduced in 1985, it is thought to be a hybrid between B. diadema and B.palmata.
Raised by Martin Johnson from a cross made in 1979, it is brother seedling to 'Connee Boswell'.
Defoliates in the winter here in a cold greenhouse.

It has done well in the Agave house. I think it would prefer more water, but the larger it gets the better it is able to reach the ground water.
I think it has now demonstrated that it is hardy here if it gets a warm summer to regrow.
