Aquilegia formosa

Perhaps this is Aquilegia year. I have been growing a number of forms from seed, mostly because I was convinced they would do well among the
hellebores (I am no longer convinced). This red flowered species is widespread in western North America from Alaska south to Baja California, growing
in moist locations. Fun from seed and flowering very easily, I grew a tray of flowering plants and had no idea what to do with them, so took some
pictures and then gave them away to a charity plant sale.
