Anemone nemorosa 'Rosea'
20th April 2008
If it is a cultivar (rather than a catch all name to cover pinkish forms of the species) then it has pink buds, opening white.
The reverse of the flower darkens in colour as it ages, and eventually the colour spreads to the face of the flower.
I was sent this as an individual named clone, but there may be a lot of other clones out there bearing the same name.
