Aloe ferox

One of the splendid upright aloes that grow on a single stem. I always admire mature specimens in succulent collections so I was delighted to be given a seedling.
Before long I will have to find somewhere brighter to grow it or it won't develop the upright form.
It comes from South Africa and Lesotho and wild populations are commercially harvested for the leaf gel, popular in cosmetics.
