Agave difformis

A small suckering species from Hidalgo and San Luis Potosi in central Mexico. It grows in the mountains up to about 2,000m.
I was given a young seedling earlier in the year and planted it straight into the Agave house.

It has grown very slowly, probably because of the drought up there. As a small plant it probably hasn't produced enough root
to reach the limited water supply deeper in the soil. I should really take it out and grow it in a pot for a few years but like
so many good intentions, it may not happen.
