I got it as a Cardamon, which it certainly isn't. Elettaria cardamomum has the same heavily pungent foliage, but it is not at all cold tolerant.

This one will take a fairly sharp frost, and if the top growth gets damaged, new shoots spring from the rootstock fairly enthusiastically.
