Hedychium efilamentosum
It is still uncertain whether Hedychium efilamentosum is in cultivation or not. When Hedychium wardii was first introduced, it was identified wrongly, and distributed under this name. My plant is slowly heaving itself up to flowering size, and in theory, I will then know what I am growing. My experience in the real world is that once it flowers I will be more confused about its identity than I am now!

Now it has flowered it is clear that this is H.wardii.
