Sarracenia (alata x flava) H-45-AP
17th September 2006
An excellent selection of the hybrid raised from a red tubed form of Sarracenia alata and Sarracenia flava rubricorpora. This plant has inherited the deep red
tube of both parents. In spring, the hood is lime green, darkening to red by the end of the season. Growth is tall and very upright with elegantly shaped lids, held more
closely over the mouth than would be typical for Sarracenia flava. The pitchers are taller and thinner in proportion than Saracenia flava .
