Sarracenia flava 'Claret' F-1-AS

'Claret' is the second of the red tubed clones obtained by Adrian Slack in about 1980. At the time, S.f.rubricorpora had not been grown in the UK, and these plants were quite astonishing - it was years before I was able to obtain a division!

Like all of these forms, it gets a bit sulky and green when it is repotted.

However, the colour restores as it settles down.
