Jeffersonia diphylla

There are two species of Jeffersonia. The white flowered one is a native of the USA. It has beautiful and distinctive two-lobed foliage and large flowers often described as ephemeral. The first time I flowered it, the buds opened just before lunch, and the petals had fallen before it was eaten. Since then, if I see it in flower I go and get the camera immediately.
