Hepatica nobilis 'Cobalt'
There are as many strains of Hepatica nobilis in circulation as there are names for colours, so
if you are wise you will take them all with a pinch of salt. It helps to be able to identify whether
you are buying a blue, white or pink one, but to be fair, very few of the strains are sufficiently
inbred to grow 100% true from seed. The bottom line is, if you want a specific colour, see it in
flower first.
Having said all of that, these cobalt blues from Longacre Plants
are a fantastic rich colour.
