Helleborus x hybridus 'Cosmos'
A clone raised by Eric Smith from his 'Constellation Strain', and introduced by The Plantsman Nursery
in 1979. I got my plant from them when they closed down and have been slowly dividing it since. At
the time, it was one of the best hybrids available, but modern seed strains are now more evenly shaped.
There are plants being distributed as 'Cosmos Strain', which seem to be third rate seedlings.
