Chirita (latifolia x linearifolia)
A vigorous hybrid with masses of lilac flowers. It has formed a clustering mass of rosettes. I left it in the cold greenhouse during the winter of 2006/7 and it got really sulky as a result, so this year it has come into the conservatory. The denser the growth becomes, the more I worry that it will suffer from a terminal attack of Botrytis in the centre.
